CASE STUDY 5 (OF A CANCER PATIENT)- ANALYZING A BIRTH CHART (KUNDLI) FROM MEDICAL PERSPECTIVE- ASTROLOGY DECODED THROUGH AYURVEDA-XII

Cancer is considered as the most dreaded disease and if you would have gone through my blog on physiology of cancer (VISUALIZING TRIDOSHIC NATURE OF CANCER !! INSIGHT FROM AYURVEDIC AND ASTROLOGY PERSPECTIVE WITH PREVENTION / CURE / MANAGEMENT TIPS ), you would have realized that one of the biggest reasons for cancer is indiscreet use of bitter foods which increase too much of vata in the body and mind leading to haywire accumulation of kapha on it.

This blog will pick up the birth chart of a cancer patient and explain you that what conditions developed cancer in this person. *** Please do go through the previous blogs (click here I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII,VIII, IX,X, XI) to understand that how exactly Astrology evolved from Ayurveda  if you wish to understand this blog in totality..The aim of writing and sharing this blog is to help you understand that how wrong choices (whether conscious or sub conscious) of foods can develop cancer and how we can prevent them from happening by spreading the knowledge of Ayurveda. Before we proceed, I reiterate that you must have a look at the blog on cancer through the link shared above as it will help you to relate. Here we go…let us begin with the first house..

*** As always analysis will be confined to medical astrology only.

Lord of the first house (i.e. venus) of the native is sitting in 6th house (which is house of diseases). This indicates that Venus (in its own zodiac) i.e. sourness will contribute to the native’s poor health. Moon that too exulted in first being aspected by Sun from 7^th (exactly opposite meaning born on full moon day) is a good sign as it indicates that they will have influence on each other- an ideal combination of intelligence and creativity. However, sun is eclipsed by fifth aspect of Rahu sitting in 3^rd. This indicates that Sun (intelligence) will not have any influence on the brain. So while moon is opposite of pitta and imparts creativity and calmness, absence of intelligence is bound to affect the decisions of the person concerned making him take wrong decisions. As such moon is a vata and watery kapha planet.

Rahu (very high vata) in 3rd with mars (high pitta) also indicates that the person must be extremely high on energy while performing his tasks which is also being aspected by saturn (another high vata planet that too sitting in its own zodiac making vata stronger). Conversely, 9^th house (the house of fate) having saturn and aspected by rahu and mars again indicates extremely high vata in the fate of the person. Even Jupiter in 10^th is partially debilitated as it is sitting in saturn’s zodiac indicating deposition of kapha on vata. As such the lord of 10^th i.e. Saturn has moved to 9^th i.e. in 12^th place from itself indicating health, hospitalization issues due to high vata). All this clearly indicates that the person must have developed very high vata in the later parts of his life due to his actions, seemingly because of the effect of mars (his siblings).

All this led to the person develop severe form of cancer during his saturn’s main period (maha-dasha) and venus’s sub-period i.e. high vata followed by deposition of sourness and sweetness over it (as we discussed in my previous blog). Chalit chart of the native also shows close conjunction between mercury and sun (as such even main chart posted here shows they are not too far from each other) which indicates that the person’s mercury (skin) will get affected by pitta. His issues began with skin cancer, however since vata in him is very high in the entire body, he has developed this disease in others parts of the body too.

To conclude:-

• our conscience and physiology develops only partially as a result of how we are born (i.e. genetics) and sometimes a greater role is played by conscience of people (what they eat, how they act and create conditions around) around the native.
• This means intervention at the right time by showing probable future to the native or his/her family members (through Astrology which is an outcome of Ayurveda only) can help to change the course of events in the right direction not only for himself/herself but also for people around. That is how Ayurveda can bring positive change in the collective conscience of the world.
• This also means that predictions by Astrology is not Pathar kee lakeer (etched in stone) and divine intervention by an enlightened (which is nothing but right knowledge i.e. Ayurveda) and will/determination of the native (and/or his/her well wishers around) to implement that knowledge which is right karma, can change the course of future in the right direction.
• Of course all this knowledge must reach the concerned well in time before it is too late to reverse the damage. And that is why SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity,  threat) analysis through medical Astrology should be carried out as soon as possible, ideally right at the time of one’s birth for its implementation right from the beginning of one’s life and that is what the Vedic tradition was – to create birth chart right at the time of birth.
