Analysing the birth chart of Bharat (India)

This  blog will discuss the birth chart of Bharat (India). The word Bharat came from Nakshatra (Star) Bharani, which is owned by Venus which represents that conscience which is spiritually as well as materialistically rich. Before discussing the chart, it is important that we understand in brief that how can a country has its birth chart too.

Birth chart of a native represents the energy signatures of the location where the native is born exactly at the time of the native’s birth. This is because energy signatures of a specific location at a specific time are created by the weather conditions of that place at that time. And it is weather that creates the deepest wiring of the brain and the body of the child which ultimately defines his/her future. For example, a native born in extreme hot weather conditions will have quickly moving blood in narrower blood vessels making one more active (mentally and physically) and outward personality compared to a child who is born in very cold conditions as his/her wiring will be defined by inwards and shrunk blood vessels due to cold weather creating an inward personality.

This is because infants have a very ductile and malleable body which easily gets influenced by the conditions around (dont we see their head changing shape in accordance with the shape of the pillow?). Of course, the genetics of the parents and predecessors, plays an important role in deciding the wiring of the child which is why there are divisional charts of the birth chart that separate the fate of the individuals born at the same time, date and nearby locations or same location but different time (even if differing by minutes).

This is the reason that Vaidyas of the ancient India who were expert in Ayurveda (India’s ancient medical science), used to check one’s birth chart including current transit of planets apart from checking one’s pulse and bodily and mental symptoms for diagnosing one’s disease/imbalances. In simple words, planetary positions have a direct impact on the weather conditions thereby creating different wirings of the brain and body of natives born at different  locations, date and time. That is why Jyotish (Astrology) uses all these three coordinates to create one’s birth chart. 

This is also the reason that these three coordinates are used to create Muhurta (the inauguration or beginning of an event) as the weather conditions of that time have a huge impact on the wiring of the people participating in that event thereby impacting the outcome or the future course of the event. In Ayurvedic language, these three coordinates define the most dominating doshas (which are nothing but planetary energies) at that point of time, space/location and date. And birth of a nation is also an event. It is this reason that the birth chart of the nation (created by using these three coordinates), defines the most dominating energies (doshas in Ayurvedic language) at the time of its birth which in turn impact the wiring of the brains of  the people involved and thus the future course.

*** At spiritual level, we all are sitting in a matrix  that moves ahead like a movie with each one of us  playing our own role that our soul has taken up basis her desires, objectives that in turn are decided by the past life experiences/karmas. And birth chart explains the energy signatures of the matrix at a specific point of space and time. This the reason that Sage Bhrigu was so accurately able to predict future timelines basis the initial settings that he knew. He can be equated to a super computer where initial conditions are fed along with the variables that create further movement to understand what will happen in future.

With this background, lets jump to Bharat’s birth chart created at 12 am on 15th August 1947 midnight with New Delhi as the place (New Delhi because all the decisions were taken from here thereby representing the conscience of this place and around).

The first house i.e. Lagna (ascendant) which represents the deepest constitution has Rahu (desire) in it. In Ayurvedic terms Rahu (desire) is Vata (hollowness) and Pitta (heat) that creates expansion of the consciousness as heat penetrates through hollowness. Rahu creates inter neural circuits thereby imparting intelligence but its excited intelligence whose level of stimulation depends upon the zodiac where it is seated. Rahu can be considered as upper part of a water fountain where water is splashing outwards and then dropping down in the pond to get collected in a place that represents Ketu. So Rahu is outward and Ketu is inward movement of consciousness. Rahu is desire to expand and Ketu is desire to contract for inner churning where further  expansion temporarily stops.  Here Rahu is parked in the 2nd zodiac i.e. Taurus (Vrishabh- the bull) which imparts strength, faith and conviction at the deepest level just like that of the Nandi, the bull of Lord Shiva.

Now, Venus i.e. lord of Taurus zodiac is parked in third house which is the house of struggle/efforts/courage/hard work. This shows that the collective conscience of the country (hence forth called as HER) will make consistent efforts through hard work, courage and struggle to gain Vibrance/luxuries. The second house has Gemini (Mithun) zodiac with Mars in it. Mars is strength (Pitta in Ayurvedic terms). Gemini zodiac is an excited zodiac (high on Vata Pitta in Ayurvedic terms). Presence of Mars in this zodiac, makes this house quite stimulated. The house represents face, speech, values that will create ways to earn/economy . Hence the collective conscience of Bharat is relatively more passionate, vocal and clear which will become stronger during Mars Mahadasha. Mars as such in 2nd house makes one Manglik.

Lord of second house i.e. mercury (Buddhi/intellect) is posted in third house with Venus (luxuries/vibrancy), Saturn (slowness/ obstacles), Moon (mind) and Sun (focus of the Soul). Third house also belongs to neighbors. All this shows that SHE will earn Venus/Vibrancy /luxuries (Ojas in Ayurvedic terms) through her own efforts and courage by making connects with HER neighboring countries and will be able to come out of her miseries/poverty created due to invasions etc. This connect will become stronger with farther countries when Mars MD will arrive as Mars expands the reach. Absence of auspicious planets like Venus and Jupiter in Kendra or Trikone clearly show her weak economical status at the time of birth/independence.

*** The planetary war in the third  house shows that Bharat will have a tumultuous relationship with HER neighbours. Sun combusting Saturn shows ups and downs due to difference in opinion with the neighbours. It also shows that Saturn with Moon that is making Sanyasi Yoga here will create  a sort of  detachment with the neighbors although presence of Sun here weakens this Yoga. Sun Saturn together also shows that Saturn’s slowness (calmness) will  keep pacifying ego (Sun) towards the neighbors.  Budh Aditya Yoga here (Sun Mercury) shows that SHE will be able to gain higher level of intellect. Sun Venus proximity shows that focus will be to closely understand luxuries/vibrancy. Since Moon i.e. Rasa becomes hot on and near a no moon day, Sun moon proximity in third shows that Rasa will always be hot and stimulated in HER.

Not only first and second house lords i.e. Venus and Mercury are in third but most of the lords of kendra and trik0ne lords are in third house which means that Bharat will have to struggle a lot but it will be able to ultimately gain Sun (focus, intelligence, inner power coming from the higher world itself), Saturn (observation, empathy, sympathy, in depth knowledge), apart from Vibrancy (Ojas) and Intellect (mercury). Also to note that barring moon, all the other planets of third house have moved to fourth house in the chalit chart showing that these virtues were already present to some extent in HER heart.

*** Chalit is the cleaned up chart of birth chart and is created by shifting the planets and zodiacs basis the degree of Lagna. Since Lagna is at 7 degrees, the first house is formed in between 15 degrees right and left of  lagna i.e. in between 22 degrees of Taurus (7+15) and 22 degrees of Aries. Hence all the planets beyond 22 degrees will essentially shift to their next house. However, here even mercury and Saturn have shifted to their next house i.e. house 4, because the tilt of earth’s axis creates unequal length of the houses which can be easily understood through visualization.

In Chalit chart even Jupiter is placed along with Ketu in 7th house. It shows that Bharat has loads of  knowledge (Jupiter) but is hidden in the mooladhara chakra (signified by 7th house and also Ketu) which will surface out more during Rahu’s MD and also when Rahu will transit in its upper houses. Also it can be  understood by those souls that can dig down till mooladhara chakra, due to their strong desire or past life experiences signified by usually Rahu or Ketu in higher zodiacs in upper houses  in their chart. Please understand that Jupiter is expanded consciousness which imparts ability to understand the wider horizon to the native (not just confined to Bharat). Jupiter in 7th zodiac which is main zodiac of Venus also represents that knowledge which will help to achieve Vibrancy/Ojas/luxuries but with wisdom (Jupiter) and detachment (Saturn).

Rahu Ketu in 1-7 axis is slightly a difficult combination as it creates extreme Rajas (stimulation/outwardness) i.e. high Vata Pitta in Ayurvedic language and extreme Tamas (ignorance/inwards/introversion but also introspection). Please remember that Rajas and Tamas or Rahu and Ketu are like two far ends of a pendulum. Excess Rajas and Tamas create excess ups and downs (to and fro) leading to diseases (both at mental and physical) which is why Bharat is  currently the capital of the heart diseases. Excess Rahu in first house i.e. deepest constitution which also means brain signifies relative more intense life (than other locations on earth), however its positive side is that Rahu fueled by Mars increases the expansion of the collective as well as individual  consciousness in the hard disc or the web of Maya. Thus the soul experiences Maya much faster in Bharat thereby helping the soul to segregate good from bad and then move to higher realms. All in all, earth is a school, life a lesson and death graduation to that lesson.

Also to note that higher the Rajas one experiences,  higher will be his/her Tamas too in this life or the next, as Tamas is essential for inner churning to understand the life lived so far during through Rahu or during the Rajasic period. It varies from soul to soul. TIMELINES OF DIFFERENT EVENTS IN BHARATS HISTORY

***  It is important to note that Mahadasha or main planetary period delivers the result  but how and when that result will be delivered is decided by Antardasha. Also to note that Transits (gochar) of planets have a huge role to play in creation or strengthening of the happening of an event and Dashas (planetary period) and Gochar should be ideally studied together (we will see an example).

Speaking of the planetary periods, India’s birth started with MD (mahadasha) of Saturn till 1965, which is a dry and hollow planet (Vata in Ayurvedic terms) which is in line with her journey when initially she went through periods of distress and food shortage. Saturn is lord of kendra and 11th house and is parked in 3rd house, 6 houses away from its Main rashi of 11th zodiac parked in tenth house. This was the period when SHE faced maximum dents from her neighbors (3rd house) whereas 6th house from itself represents enemies/adversary/competition etc. However as mentioned above, since lord of kendra is posted in house of courage, she bailed herself out of the situation and will keep doing so in future too.

The activation of 6th house during Venus Antar Dasha, with its lord posted in 3rd house again led to a major war in 1971. This was mercury MD and mercury is a markesh for HER, hence it created hurdles for her. Even Ketu is markesh for her being posted in 7th house. Ketu activation in a strong Rahu person can cause bitterness due to inwardness against one’s basic constitution of expansion (its like wrinkles created in fingers when kept in water for long thereby weakening inter finger and  intercellur communication). Ketu is headless too. In Rahu dominating natives including Bharat, Ketu activation creates a divide or cracks as it takes conscience inwards thereby weakening intersocial communication at a society or  national level. It was Ketu MD time from 1982 end till 89 end that SHE faced 1984 riots.

It was almost at the Sun AD Ketu MD period ending that Bharat witnessed assassination of her PM on 31 Oct, 1984 at 9:20 am (Sun represents head of the state and its zodiac is posted in fourth whose lord  is in 3rd, i.e. 12th from itself indicating loss of Sun which is head of state here). Here  is the transit of planets at 9:20 am on 31st Oct 1984, at new delhi, which strengthened the possibility of this event. I have rotated the chart in accordance with the lagna Rashi of Bharat. That is how  Transits are studied for a specific person or event or place. As you can see that lord of fourth i.e. Sun is posted in 6th, that is house of enemy/adversaries. Also Ketu which is markesh for Bharat is posted in 7th itself making markesh even stronger. Lord of 7th i.e. Mars is posted  in 8th house giving sudden and secretive strength to Ketu (remember  Ketu is hot and inner bitterness too).

*** Using transits, several other major events can easily be understood including Balakot and Surgical strikes etc. Both the times Mars was strongly posted in their own zodiacs. Ideally we should be taking into considerations even Nakshatras and their natures plus the nature of zodiacs, however the blog will become too long.

Venus MD was a mixed time for HER as Venus is planet of first  (good) and 6th house (bad house).  But Ketu as markesh has played quite a role. During Ve Ke (MD AD), India witnessed 26/11 attacks in 2008 which was again a failure due to weak internal communication as a result of strong Ketu. Suns MD comes after Venus and while Venus blocks Sadhak Pitta thereby pushing the native to live in line with experiences gained so far, Suns MD penetrates light and thus intelligence thereby pushing the native to expand its horizon and establish its name. With almost the start of Suns MD, India saw several new projects starting especially Adhaar which subsequently became the economical back bone of the country. Its Mars mission brought laurels to her at International level. Moons MD brings calmness and efforts to increase Rasa/nutrition in the body with less focus on outside world. During this period India saw demonetization, GST reforms, building of internal strength military strength too as this is also part of nutrition building.

Bharat entered Mars Mahadasha after sept 2025 which means that it will become militarily as well vocally louder and stronger with Mars posted in her second house. Its zodiacs are posted in 7th and 12th house. 7th house lord is also markesh and 12th house activation brings losses including physical dents but also spiritual gains.  So, Mars is the lord of her 7th and 12th house and is posted in 8th house from itself (meaning sudden and secretive procurement of land) and 3rd from itself (meaning gains of land with efforts but with losses). With strong Rahu posted next to Mars, India’s land especially north and north east is unstable and is prone to earthquakes and even demographic instability (as Rahu is hollowness and when mars pierces through it, it makes it even more unstable) which will become even stronger during Rahu’s MD. The leadership needs to prepare the nation for this.
